went to school today, what a shame usps screwed up my delivery.
hopefully pick it up some other stuff tomorrow.
made some bomb chicken marinara sandwiches for lunch
kicked it at the bike shop for a bit
got my coffee maker, it's not bad.

pre school

last day before school (this is out of order)
spent the afternoon chillin with a lot of friends
lots of bottom bracket swapping going on
put a phil bb in david's 735 so he doesn't have to worry about unsealed bearings~
nico got a new bb as well, his 735 is pretty darn solid now too
did a night spin with a bunch of people, stopped by revelle to say hi to more friends
good way to start the quarter

first winter days

first day of winter quarter went pretty well

decided to take four classes instead of five, but managing my time a lot better this quarter

iannotate + blackboard + capacitive stylus really makes the ipad a pdf note taking machine

stopped by the shop to say hi to kris and pick up some tape and tubes

thanks andrew for the tube, cap, and tire levers~

kevin picked me up a black supertype from lafixed over break, thanks too

watson copped me a pair of candy's as well, thanks three!

 

back to school

break's over, gotta get to work on school and stay on top of things.
went and got breakfast with my mom for my last day (saturday), and then headed for the airport around noon.
saw kev wu wu at the airport hah. took a aglum style shoes shot.
came back, stanley picked me up and headed to ikea  to buy him some furniture
got lolitas after with ping too. grabbed some groceries too and finally got back to apartment
all settled in, was gonna get some rest but ended up going to stanley's place to chill.
andrew's bmc looks pretty.
this morning linda came over and we chopped it up for a bit
then i disassembled the dented phil, ready for a new rim

so for the last month or so, I've been in a dilemma over what camera gear/system I should move to.
initially, I wanted to get a new body (e-p3), but at 800 for the body alone, it was way too expensive.
I pondered about whether or not to save up and make the move to dslr, but let's be honest, I wouldn't bring the dslr around enough to justify the 1000's+ in glass.
found a great deal on a like-new e-p3 (in white, my favorite color, to boot!)
here's some pictures, i'm completely blown away with the screen/interface on the e-p3.
it is such a huge improvement over the e-p1, and I can't wait to get some legacy glass on there.
